I have several pairs of Kut jeans, so I ordered the size 2 in this style which is what I have ordered in the past. I am 5'6" 138lbs. athletic build for reference. These are more of what I would describe as a "trouser jean" so you can dress them up or down. The size 2 fit fine, but the waist was a little bit loose. I decided to keep them anyway and just put them in the dryer to see if I could shrink the waist a bit. Overall great quality and nice and soft.
