The other reviews were urging to size down but for me these fit better in my usual Kut size 12 (which are on the generous size compared to most). Since sizes are hard to figure out for the larger than 0 on this site, here are my findings…
First thing you will notice is in both size 10 and 12 we are talking pretty close to 2lbs (864 and 894 g respectively). My other heavy Kut size 12 jeans are more like 600 g.
Comparison sizing between 10 and 12 follow:
Waist (all measurements with flat tape across) 17 3/8 vs. 18.5” (44.13 vs. 47 cm)
Front rise: 11 vs. 11 3/8” (28 vs. 28.9 cm)
Back rise: are the same 15” (38 cm)
Leg width at crotch: 13 1/4 vs 14” ( 33.7 vs. 38.7 cm)
Mid thigh: 12 vs. 12 1/4”(30.5 vs. 31 cm)
Inseams: 31 vs 31 1/4” (78.74 vs. 79.375 cm)
Outer leg seam: 41 1/4 vs. 41 3/8” (104 vs. 105cm)
Knee: 11 vs. 11 7/8” (28 vs. 30 cm)
Hem: 10 1/2 vs. 11 1/4” (26.7 vs. 28.6 cm)
Like “old fashioned” heavy jeans from the past these stretch as you wear them and tighten back up after washing. I’m thinking they will last a very long time as the material and craftsmanship are excellent quality making these a good buy in the long run as long as you don’t try to stay in fashion with the yo-yo trends of skinny/baggy styles 😌
