I was looking for a lightweight, non-denim, non-linen pant option for summer. This pant checks all those boxes but unfortunately t he e fit isn’t as good as I’d hoped. It would have been great but for the way the pockets sit on my body—perhaps a function of my body’s shape (I’m pretty average for a 54-yr old woman), but a problem no less. The pocket shape actually drew me to the pant online—the carpenter pocket shape typically sits well on my figure, and I’ve had good luck with other Kut pants using the same packet style. But these pockets stuck out. Thinking it was me, I tried a larger size and it was still an issue. I kept the larger size and sewed the pockets closed. Definitely not my favorite solution and made a great pant only good enough.

I love these pants. They are pants that I can easily dress up or down. They are a soft off white color which makes them look a bit dressy but still casual.
